John Keller & Mary Bowman
Quite a lot is known about the Keller family. John Keller was born June 12, 1736 in Lancaster Co., PA to Hans George and Anna Barbara Hottel Keller. He married Mary Bowman (who I have very little information on) in Virginia in 1761.
It is known that in August 1786 he was given a land grant in Shenandoah Co., VA on Stony Creek. I am not sure when his wife, Mary died however he and his daughter, Mary came to Greene Co., TN in 1795. He bought 400 acres of the "richest creek bottoms" in Green County at the confluence of Dry Fork and Roaring Fork of Lick Creek, about 5 air miles due south of Greenville. John and Mary had the following children:

John Keller died November 8, 1800 in Greene Co., Tennessee.
